  • Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) Haji Mazlan bin Lazim

    Chairman

    Tan Sri Mazlan served with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for more than four decades, rising to Deputy Inspector General of Police in June 2021. During his career he held a number of senior leadership roles, including Chief of Police for Kuala Lumpur and Kelantan and Director of the Bukit Aman Logistics and Technology Department. As Director General of the Witness Protection Department under the Prime Minister’s Department, he was responsible for the country’s national witness protection programmes.

    Since retiring from PDRM, he has carried that leadership into the corporate sector. He currently serves as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Computer Forms (Malaysia) Berhad and Chairman of PBLT Sdn Bhd, a company wholly owned by the Minister of Finance (Incorporated). He is also Deputy Chairman of Rapid Synergy Berhad, giving him board oversight roles across two publicly listed companies alongside his public-sector background.

    Alongside his professional experience, Tan Sri Mazlan holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia. In 2022, he was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Strategic Management by Open University Malaysia. He continues to contribute to Malaysia’s institutional and academic community through a range of leadership, advisory and honorary roles.

  • Dinesh Menon

    Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    Dinesh oversees the financial affairs of ZICO Trust (M) Berhad, bringing 18 years of experience across the accounting and finance sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Technology, Sydney, and is a member of CPA Australia.

    His career includes roles at KPMG, Schlumberger and MBf Holdings, alongside extensive experience within the trust industry – equipping him to manage the financial affairs of a trust company to the highest fiduciary standards. With a background spanning auditing and management accounting across financial institutions, manufacturing and property development, he ensures the disciplined stewardship of assets under management at ZICO Trust (M) Berhad.

  • Jeevan M. Sundaram

    Managing Director (MD)

    Jeevan leads ZICO Trust (M) Berhad as Managing Director, bringing together legal training and deep experience in wealth structuring. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, and began his career in banking, specialising in retail and dealings with OECD markets.

    He went on to build his expertise in corporate advisory, working with trust and investment holding companies and developing an intricate understanding of wealth creation and financial structuring. Through years of working with affluent and sophisticated clients, he became adept at conceptualising and implementing complex legal and financial structures – the foundation he now draws upon in leading ZICO Trust (M) Berhad’s vision and growth.

  • YBhg. Dato’ Muraly Daran

    Director

    Dato’ Muraly brings more than four decades of experience in trustee services, financial management and investment portfolio management. He was Chief Executive Officer of Amanah Raya Berhad, Malaysia’s largest trust company, from 2000 to 2003. Earlier in his career, he served with the Malaysian Ministry of Finance as a Senior Treasury Accountant.

    He was Executive Chairman of Platinum Trustee Berhad, which was subsequently rebranded as ZICO Trust (M) Berhad, giving him a direct connection to the company’s heritage. He currently holds directorships in LYC Healthcare Berhad and Gabungan AQRS Berhad, where he chairs the Audit Committee, in addition to several private companies.

    A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), United Kingdom, and a past member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, he completed his ACCA examinations in 1974.

  • Chew Seng Kok

    Executive Director

    Seng Kok is the founder and a leading figure of the ZICO group of companies. He founded ZICO Law – a network of independent law firms across ASEAN – in 2003, and served as Managing Director of ZICO Holdings Inc., the SGX-listed parent group, from 2014 until 2023, when he was redesignated Executive Director to lead the Group’s corporate strategy and business development.

    Widely recognised as a leading transactions and projects lawyer, he advises the public and private sectors across Malaysia and ASEAN on the development and financing of major infrastructure projects, law reform, and complex mergers and acquisitions. In June 2025, he was named one of the Financial Times’ “Top 20 Law Firm Leaders”, selected from close to 1,000 individuals featured across two decades of the FT Innovative Lawyers series.

    He began his career in Malaysia in 1985 before practising with Chapman Tripp in Wellington and Baker & McKenzie in Singapore. He joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co. in 1991, rising to Managing Partner in 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours, 1984) and a Master of Laws (First Class Honours, 1989) from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

  • YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr Nik Norzrul Thani bin Nik Hassan Thani

    Deputy Chairman

    A distinguished lawyer and one of Malaysia’s most respected corporate figures, Tan Sri Nik is the Executive Chairman of Zaid Ibrahim & Co., one of Malaysia’s largest law firms. His expertise spans Islamic finance, banking, offshore finance, debt restructuring, and international, corporate and commercial law. Encompassing advising on mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and the issuance of private debt securities, including Islamic financial instruments.

    He currently serves as Chairman of Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC), IHH Healthcare Berhad, SD Guthrie Berhad and T7 Global Berhad, and chairs the Board of Directors of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). He also holds directorships in several public companies, including Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad and Cagamas Holdings Berhad, and previously chaired the Malaysia-Singapore Business Council.

    He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Buckingham, a Master of Laws from Queen Mary College, University of London, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn as a Barrister-at-Law, and was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School and a Chevening Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies.
